Chicago 2, Kings 1

The Kings got on the board, and pulled within one goal, with a 5-on-3 goal with 5:02 remaining in the third period. Anze Kopitar shot, through traffic, and scored to cut Chicago’s lead to 2-1. Jack Johnson and Ryan Smyth picked up assists.

    my assessment:

    the kings are missing a forward finisher.

    brown is not going to do it neither is simmonds.

    Ponikarovsky and mitchell are missed but everybody else needs to step up.

    kopitar and our hard working forwards are not enough.

    its frustrating but all us fans can do is cheer and hope for the best.

    @rmartin1951, Cammallerri didnt want to be here anymore and was traded for a 1st rounder which turned out to be Colton Teubert. Guess what though? Calgary only got him for a year and then he left via free agency to Montreal so basically Calgary pissed away a 1st round draft pick.
