Tuesday practice update

Alec Martinez arrived in Montreal, from Manchester, just before practice started and was on the ice today. After practice, Terry Murray did not commit to putting Martinez in the lineup tomorrow, put given the fact that Martinez had four power-play goals in 20 minutes with the Monarchs, and that the Kings are looking to improve their power play, well, you can figure it out…

Not surprisingly, Jonathan Bernier was met by a small army of Montreal reporters after practice, in advance of his start tomorrow against the hometown Canadiens. It gave Drew Doughty a one-day reprieve from being the center of the Canadian media’s attention. More notes and quotes from practice to come…
