Kings 1, Senators 1

The Kings tied the game with 3:43 remaining in the first period. Ottawa’s Jason Spezza attempted to pass the puck out of the Senators’ zone, but Anze Kopitar picked off the pass, took a couple strides and beat Leclaire with a high wrist shot from the middle of the right circle to tie the game 1-1.

    @Who Knows?, That was a hell of a cycle by the 4 line, burning time as we’ve been looking for them to do. I was hoping for Westie’s first NHL pot, myself…

  2. Just to let you know department:

    Some scrub goalie for the Caps has already given up 4 goals, Devils 4-0 Caps at the Rock… second period.

    @dmh012, Spezza? Nah.

    What does everything think about Marco Sturm? Boston’s in a cap crunch with Sturm and Savard coming off injury.

    That whole rule is just stupid. I can see if it goes UNDER the net, or if there was a whistle first….

    You can see Carkner removed the goal with his hand. Nice drive by Clifford.

    Really liking Cliffy out there with Zeus and Simmer. He seems like a natural fit. Does that mean Poni might be the first line LW we’ve been looking for when he comes back?

    Nice turn in momentum towards the end of the period by the kings. They are definitely getting their chances. The stoll line has a lot of jump. And they look hungry!

    Ref completely blew it. So obviously he grabbed the dam post in front of God and everyone and pulled it off while he’s watching Simmonds getting ready to finish. Bad color by Fox, that was obvious.

    We got screwed.

    Wow straight up bad call…sneaky sneaky…hand on the post when the ref is not looking. No need to put hand on the post unless deliberate.
