The Bruins are on a three-game winning streak and enter tonight’s game having allowed the fewest goals (31, in 17 games) in the NHL this season and with the league’s second-best penalty-kill unit. Among goalies who have played at least 10 games, Thomas leads in goals-against average (1.37) and save percentage (.959).

What do the Bruins think of the Kings? Coach Claude Julien was quoted, in ESPNBoston.com’s Bruins blog, as giving the following praise to the Kings…

“It’s high-end players throughout their lineup,” Julien said. “They’re high-tempo. They’ve got a ton of skill spread out throughout their lineup. They come at you shift after shift and from the back end moving on forward.”
