The fans who have been watching since at least the Gretzky Era are probably the ones that could make a “determination.” We have seen a run to the SCF and want a return.
This PP needs to be fixed, and sooner than later. This is a travesty that we cannot even get a shot on goal on some of these PP opportunities. Someone should keep track of the number of passes on one of the PP and pass that on to the coaching staff.

Normally I’d agree, but all things considered (ending the streak, back to back road games, on just about no sleep, etc.) I’ll take the two points. If they get the comparatively short flight and the day of rest, and they stink it up Monday…well, that’s considerably different!

Don’t get me wrong…I love the two points, but in all honesty, it should never have gone to overtime…let alone a shootout. We had the lead.Like I said….we have time to make the necessary adjustments. I don’t know if it is Kompon, Murray,or any other reason people have listed, but, I do know that the guys on the ice score the goals, play defense, and play the game, and a few of them need to step up and do just that.

Again…yes, I’d normally agree…but you add up all the things against them, and I’m pretty thankful for the points. Now, let’s say they give up a goal in the last couple minutes of regulation–could have happened easily–then I’m probably in strong agreement. The big difference? Quick didn’t let it happen. Let’s just see how they play with a little rest, against a team that’s not sitting and watching them play.

@Harty, Losing Willie hurt, not just because he’s our best one on one defender but because it threw the pairings out of whack. JJ is best with Scuderi and Greene compliments Drewiske. But you can’t pair Dewey with Muzzin or Harrold because that would be endlessly risky.

The Mings didnt deserve to be ahead 3-0 so Im not surprised it too a shootout to decide the game. I agree with the comments about Lewis, he’s going to be solid. King is too unskilled and slow for the first line. It’s like the line has 2.5 players. The organization just has to obtain a decent LW and give up some of the D or C depth.
And the PP, yeah, like it was many times last year- ultra predictable and playing like they’re on ambien while the other teams’ PPs play like they’re on amphetamines. It’s frustrating to watch.
