Parse, Schenn clarifications

To clarify a couple things… The Kings have not yet officially assigned Brayden Schenn to Manchester for conditioning. At this point, they’re in discussions with the NHL league office about the particulars of the transaction, and we should have definitive word on that fairly soon. It is believed that Schenn can do a 14-day conditioning assignment in the AHL while retaining his junior eligibility. That’s the plan, and we’re waiting for official word on that.

Also, Scott Parse’s surgery will actually be to repair the labrum in his hip, not his groin muscle. Dean Lombardi misspoke when giving the diagnosis, but regardless, Parse is expected to miss 3-4 months. Dr. Thomas Byrd is scheduled to perform the surgery in Nashville on Tuesday.
