Simmonds update

As indicated earlier, Wayne Simmonds is considered “questionable” for Saturday’s game, after he suffered a lower-body injury in the second period of the Kings’ victory over Dallas on Thursday. Simmonds was not available for comment today, and Terry Murray was asked about Simmonds’ status…

MURRAY: “The only update I have is that he came in and he was treated. I’m going to wait until tomorrow morning and have an opportunity to see what he’s like. Get him on the ice, hopefully, and make a decision. … I would say (his status is) questionable. There’s hope that it’s going to be OK. It’s just another day of getting treated, and come back in and give it a try in the morning.”
