    I’m going to speculate and say it is an internal organ bruise possibly the kidney. On the play that Simmonds got hurt on he was hit with a forearm in the kidney area and dropped to the ice in immediate pain.

    Looks like he was holding his side or maybe his ribs. His only shift on the ice in the 3rd, he couldn’t even move. Went straight to the bench.

    It’s probably a hip but hopefully not. I chipped a piece of my hip once hitting the ice after a hit. Hurts lake hec and there is no treatment except rest. Quick stood on his head and once again gave us the chase to win!
