KOPITAR: “The second period, we killed off a few penalties, then after that we really took off and took the fight to them. But we didn’t get any results. We had some quality shots on net, but they didn’t go in for us.”
(on Turco’s game…)
KOPITAR: “Most of the time, in L.A., I think he was struggling against us, but tonight I thought he was solid. He made some key stops, but it is what it is. They got bailed out by a few posts and crossbars. That’s the way it goes sometimes.”

I don’t think the Kings could possibly have played any better. That was almost a perfect game execution-wise. But, as Kopi said, they just couldn’t get it by the posts and crossbars.
