Get better doughty!
and Muzzin play like you did when you were here!
[Reply]
Me thinks Jake never actually flew to New Hampshire, hence the reason he was not in the Sunday lineup for the Monarchs.

@BakoCAkingsCondorsGuy, no he was here, we saw him.

Its not good or bad. Just the biz end of it…Its early in the season, and I agree with the approach of safety first. Let the guy take his time recovering.
[Reply]
Doesnt mean anything, they just had to do that if they wanted to call Jake back up. I still imagine doughty playing at staples vs NJ.
[Reply]
Amazing what one player means to a team. Get well soon and take it easy on the Coke while you are recovering.
[Reply]
Ugh, my poor fantasy team is suffering.

Welcome back Jake !

Jack, pick the torch up and carry it. It’s not about DD or JJ, it’s about the team. Act like it.

Since this isn’t a Norris Trophy winning season for Doughty (most likely), maybe this drops down his re-sign value? Or do we still re-sign him to a massive contract based on one helluva season?

@bryan agee, Whoa says it isn’t? Green missed seven games last year, and still led the league in points and goals for blueliners, and was still a norris finalist. This could be the best thing for Drew’s year. The offense, and the rest of the team coming together, learning to still be dangerous with out him. He could come back to a team that is opening up more room for him than he was seeing at the start of the season. For all we know, he comes back like a man with a mission on Thursday and proceeds to shred the opposition. We all know he is capable of doing so.

That stinks to have a couple of lame injuries so early in his career. Firstly, his losing some teeth, and secondly, possible head injury. I do not think there was an intent to injure, but the hit was most certainly intentional and lateral.

@Booooooooooooooo, I love that he lost the teeth… he likes BA now
The head injury is VERY frightening… haven’t been this scared since Deadmarsh had 13 goals in the first 20 games…. the last 20 games he would ever play…
[Reply]
told ya!
Over/under 10.5 games
let’s hear it people…I obviously took the over with DD coming back on the 15th against San Jose.
Place your bets!

@Jayrew,
I have no need to gamble with you. Unlike you, I can tolerate the uncertainty in this situation. Because of the nature of his injury, all we can say is that Drew will be back when he is ready, and he will be ready whenever he is ready.
Your conjecture has absolutely no point, and you have put yourself in the position of rooting for one of the team’s very best players to be out for a long time just so you can be right. I find that disgusting.
