Kings of tweets

The great news for charity is that in last night’s Twitter “hashtag battle,” Children’s Hospital Los Angeles picked up $29,374. That’s $1 for every Twitter hashtag of “#GOKINGS,” and the Kings won the competition against the Colorado Avalanche by a margin of 29,374 to 13,876. The amazing news is that at one point last night, the Kings were Twitter’s number-one trending topic worldwide, beating out the UFC on the night it had a major event. The Kings even beat Justin Bieber.
