In another bizarre twist, the Kings got the lead back with a shorthanded goal, with Simmonds’ penalty still on the board. Anderson came far out to play the puck, but Richardson deflected it. Jarret Stoll picked it up near the left boards and with Anderson still far out of position, passed to Richardson, who scored to make it 5-4 Kings with 6:56 remaining.

    That was a B.S. call!!! Fox wake up there was no butt end. He got hit in the family jewels. Reporter needs to go up to him after the game to see if Galiardi has a cup! Im telling you!

    @Jimbo, pull off the purple and silver glasses man that was a brutal play by simmer. Not saying there was intent…but it definitely falls under disregard of another player or loss of control of the stick.

    @Jay, Thank god somebody other then me is noy myopic. I will tell you what he did because I have seen this before, he grabbed both hands on his own stick to look like he was shadowing his man, then got as close as he could and slid the stick with his left hand as hard as he could in his gut. With both hands on the stick, Simmonds was hoping no one would notice but one of the linesmen did and they threw his ass out the game like he deserved! I am a BIG Simmonds fan, but he most definately should get suspended!
