@cjms,
I mean, granted, Richie’s one of my favorite players, but he’s a two-way, grind-it-out kind of guy playing on the 4th line. Wow.

@cjms,
I don’t think he is, he played great with Kopitar on the 1st line. In fact, I bet that was the longest shift in the O-zone this year when Kopi and Brad played pepper for what seemed an eternity.

@Cry Baby,
Has to be Karma. Before the draft they were one or two peices away from competing for the cup again. Then they went and payed whatever it takes to get the one guy they think will get them there, and it disrupts everything from chemistry to being able to afford to put an entire compliment on the ice. Not to mention loosing money and draft picks along the way.
Karma’s a son of a B**ch!
fast game, good win, GKG!

kovi healthy scratch tonite against sabers. supposely devil’s coach MacLean had some issues with Kovi. and the drama continues. hahaha

I’m sure they’ll patch things up… after all, Kovi and MacLean have plenty of time to work it out…like 15 years.. LOL ha ha

6 beers, a beer a goal and a shot of Jameson. Thank you Kings. That was a entertaining game.
And Simmons, you play on the Kings, of course that poke is going to be ‘seen’. But perfectly exicuted.

@jamesonafterawin,
i’d say 9 times out of 10 a player is going to get away with that EXACT move. Just misjudged it and caught T.J. in the junk.

@jamesonafterawin,
We reviewed the butt end penalty a dozen times. We even covered the left half of the screen to catch the moment that Simmonds moved his stick towards Giliardi. NEVER happened. We covered the right half of the screen and its clear that Giliardi aggresively moved to his right into Simmonds and Simmonds let go of his stick. Its possible that Simmonds knew Girialdi was there because he did let his stick drop but it didnt look any where as severe as Giliardi made it out to be. I think the next time these teams meet, we need to take a few runs at Giriladi and let him experience real pain.

Kovi should’ve gone back to Russia….period!

very entertaining game for sure. loved it. unfortunately center ice isn’t free after tomorrow and i can’t afford it. so the rest of my kings games will only be able to listened to online the rest of the year

Kings +105? CHAAAAACHINGGGG. Nice work, boys. Thanks for putting out such a lucrative line, Vegas.

Nice game, score seemed closer than what it actually was. We owned them. Now, only if Tm send DD to Manchester and get Muzzin in there, I”ll be sleeping much better. While at it, please bring Clune and send down Schenn. The kid is good, just not ready yet.

to keep him up when a clearly better D sits out?
But, I get ur point.

i guess when the penalty kill is working so well the strategy is to take as many penalties as possible to destroy the opponent through frustration…?
lucky win…good thing we got richardson!

Nice to see Kopi going to the net on the PP (and scoring).

Willy was the bomb again tonight! Making me a believer. Nice win fellas.

Simmer is not a dirty player so I don’t understand the game misconduct. Two guys were jockeying for position and Simmonds was increasing his stride to move past Galardi and his upper body was moving to increase momentum so that he could gain a step and he tangled with Galardi. The view that we saw was inconclusive but this is my best guess as to what happened. Somebody saw it differently on the ice.
The Kings are like chameleons they play within their structure but they take on the characteristics of teams they play against. This was not a tight checking game. It was wide open. The Kings adapted to the style that the AVS play and beat them at their own game. Generally the Kings play a tight checking game like they played against Phoenix but lost. As the season unfolds watch as this team matches styles of opposing teams. We can play tight checking games, we can play run and gun, we can play neutral zone traps, we can play the activate a defenseman game. As long as we win them.

My opinion Muzzin is one of the best D kings have. He is the young guy but so far Drewiske and Johnson are the ones coughing up goals. I swear Johnson cant hold the puck in the blue line worth beans.
