Anze Kopitar’s postgame thoughts…
(on the game…)
KOPITAR: “It was one of those games where it was a pretty open game. I don’t know if the coaches really want to see that because it was not a whole lot of a checking game. The most important thing is just to get the two points out of it, and it’s a good way to start this seven games in 11 nights. We’re going on the road and it was a pretty good game for us. … We do have four wins but it’s a long season and we’re going to have to work hard for it.”
(on the Kings’ goaltending…)
KOPITAR: “We have a lot of confidence in those two back there so it doesn’t matter [who starts]. We know they’re going to give us a chance every night and obviously they know we’re going to be as quick as we can be in front of them so it goes both ways.”
