Congrats, Luc a well deserved extension. Hope you are with the Kings for life. When I think Kings I think Luc, I think its just my age. My 2nd year as a fan I went to opening night and watch a kid named Luc Robitaille having no clue who he was. Then noticed he was on the ice with Marcel Dionne on the first line still one of the most memorable goals in 20 years of being a fan. Dionne passes Luc gets tripped, but still reaches out with his stick and redirects the puck while sliding flat on his stomach. Its been excellence from Luc ever since on and off the ice. LUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCC!

Bare with me on this story. I’ve known Chris since 1996. I used to work at the Forum as an usher and I had the best spot for hockey games. The corner where the referee’s came on the ice. Well, my sister was talking to me during the warm ups for a pre-season game and we were standing about 10 feet from the glass. I suggested we get closer to the glass cuz the goalie was knocking a lot of shots off his blocker and they were landing near where we were standing. My sister says nah, she’ll keep an eye out for falling pucks. Well, a couple minutes later she takes one right on the bridge of the nose. It broke it and it cut it open. So I took her to the nurses station and asked her if she wanted me to take her to the doctors. She tells me to go to the orange side and go to this table set up for season tickets and ask for some guy named Chris. I’m like, “Who?”. So I go find this guy and take him back to my sister and he was visibly upset when he saw my sister. I’m like, “who the Hell is this guy and when did he start dating my little sister?”. Well, 4 years later he ended up marrying her and I couldn’t have asked for a better guy to have as a brohter in law. Congrats Chris, you deserve it.
