Jonathan Quick’s postgame thoughts…
(on the comeback win…)
QUICK: “We had some good opportunities throughout the game. Lou [Roberto Luongo] made some big saves for them, to keep it a 1-0 game. We were fortunate enough to get on the power play late in the third and poke one home. We could have ended it in overtime but Lou made a handful of saves there that he probably shouldn’t have. It’s just good to get the two points, and we’re looking forward to Calgary now.”
(on getting revenge against the Canucks…)
QUICK: “Obviously I think the boys came in here with a little bit of a chip on their shoulders, just for that reason. But at the end of the day, it’s one game of 82. We’ll take it for what it’s worth. We got two points out of it and that’s what we came here to do. We’ll move on and look forward to Calgary now.”
(on Kopitar’s return…)
QUICK: “He battles. Kopi always battles. I think any other player in the locker room, as well, would have come back and battled. It shows the character that the team has here. We’re really looking forward to the season and looking forward to tomorrow.”
