For reasons not totally clear, the Ducks have announced that foxsportswest.com has canceled tonight’s planned streaming of the Kings-Ducks game at Honda Center. There will still be Kings radio coverage on 1150-AM and affiliates, and we’ll try to do a live game chat here as well. Here’s how the Kings will skate tonight…

Richardson-Stoll-Williams
Clifford-Schenn-Westgarth
Clune-Loktionov-Lewis
Muzzin-Doughty
Scuderi-Johnson

@54FIGHTING,
He was replying to my dumb “First” comment. It was somthing stupid I saw on Tosh.0 (Funny show on Com Central)
Well, not surprised, but I’m not ashamed to say I will miss EE. To me he represented the first signs of hope in the crease in a long time… Best of luck, EE! Keep your chin up and fare well wherever you fare!
[Reply]
Sorryi couldn’t help it, I just watched Tosh.0
No stream tonight, that sucks. A least I got to see FFXIII and the last Kings vs. Ducks game. Hopefully there will be a change of plans and they’ll decide to stream tonight. Go Kings!
[Reply]
Wow, FU ducks
[Reply]
Damn ducks
[Reply]
No Kopi, no streaming, no problem actually, I’ll take that for today and go to sleep normally than, in contrary to after the game around 5am, hehe. but anyways you GO KINGS!!

Baby Ryan paid off fox sports or Carlile. They dont want the weak ass D more exposed to the league.

Man I sure hope JB doesn’t let in any soft goals tonight. Oh wait I forgot he doesn’t let in softies, everything that beats him is an amazing shot.

@Nyck,
Um…ok, not going to even respond to the first part of your comment because it’s just plain stupid.
As for being relevent, is this not a Kings blog, about Kings players, and since the roster is listed on this post where else would you like me to post it?

This might explain why Dish network doesn’t want to negotiate with Fox. They do this ‘For no clear reason’ stuff all the time. I seem to remember questions about HD and games in Canada not being shown with some not so clear or no answers….
Just sayin’

@Cynic, From my understanding, its the Duck’s organization who don’t want the game to be streamed.
[Reply]
Wow, interested in seeing Muzzin paired with Doughty… oh wait, I won’t see it.. no streaming. *sigh*
[Reply]
I think it is safe to say there will be some scraps tonight.

write to the ducks and tell them they’re lame for not streaming the game. it might encourage them to do it in the future, or at least give a real reason for not streaming this time.

@dcf, “We’ve decided to hold off and re-evaluate the process. We want to make sure we’re providing the best experience for the fans.”
Does THE BEST EXPERIENCE mean NO EXPERIENCE?
That’s ridiculous reasoning. Thousands of fans are now going to miss the game so Fox and The Ducks figure out a way to make more money of of us
[Reply]
wow. the “four third lines” line-up.

@quisp,
Imagine if we cream the Ducks with this line-up. How much of a boost would that be for this team, and how much harder will it be for the coaches to make those final roster cuts.

@quisp,
Looking at this I’d say Schenn and Clifford have the upper hand in sticking with the club but we’ll see.

@holly, lol! Problem is I just figured out yesterday how to get one of those not-so-legal streams. Oh, well.

Damn it, I have tonight off too. The hockey fans get SCREWED again.

fox sports west might not be available for dish networkers this season, needless to say im going to small claims court to get out of the contract because i never miss a kings game, i just hope cox doesnt follow suit, if so, we wont get to see many games. fox wants more money, the greedy burglars, and we all will suffer. so i dont think this has much to do with the sucks, more to do with fox being lame.

@dan,
I agree with the cancellation of the stream being more a FS decision rather than the Ducks. For hockeygodssakes, Ducks games are even on KDOC! They want their product out to the public, good or bad.
FS holds ridiculous amount power to show NHL games around the country. Bad business decisions, greed, I don’t know what, but I really do not like the FS/NHL relationship.
I feel like an hockey addict and FS is my dealer. Oh wait a minute…….

I like seeing Scuderi playing with Johnson again. Hopefully it is a trend that will continue throughout the regular season and Scuderi can have the same sort of effect on Johnson that he had on Doughty. I like Johnson but he definitely needs to work on his defensive awareness.

@Bickleton Wigglesworth III, This is the plan according to TM & DL the top 2 pairs will be Doughty – Mitchell &
JJ – Scuds. No mention of PP1, but my guess is Doughty -JJ.

This is definitely a Fox Sports issue and not a Ducks problem. Dish and Fox are in contract negotiations. I am in a 2 year contract that started in August 09 and if they don’t resolve this by next weekend I will be getting out of that contract one way or another. I subscribe to NHL Season Pass but that doesn’t guarantee me all Kings games. I would assume that if KDOC can show the Quackers games, some local station will pick up the Kings games considering the optimism on the upcoming season. Here’s hoping none of us have to deal with this and Fox/Dish can work out an agreement before the puck drops on an amazing season next Saturday!
Go Kings Go!

It’s obvious that the Ucks aren’t showing it because they don’t want to admit to anyone that they have no D.

Why would you want to showcase your arse getting lit up on home ice?
