It’s a slower day at the rink today, as most of the veterans are doing off-ice workouts. On the ice are the young players, plus Bernier and Ersberg in goal and Matt Greene doing drills as well. No roster cuts are expected today. Scott Parse is still listed as injured.
Party at Vegas! Who’s going???

Rich, do we know the roster yet that’s gonna be in Vegas on Saturday?
[Reply]
I’m gonna be in Vegas! Super excited! Have a few beers, play cards, see the game, few more beers, then party to celebrate a 4-1 victory. That’s what I predict

Lets hope clifford, clune and schenn all make the team. That would be just awesome.

VEGAS BABY!!!

Big practice for Ersberg, as I think this is his first action since being injured.

Rich Clune will be a fine career AHLer….
how can I pick him over Clifford, Loktionov or Schenn..
Lewis, Zeiler….you’re joking, right?
[Reply]
I love Clune, but Schenn and Lokti looked really good yesterday. Schenn has great ice awareness and tried to make awesome passes yesterday. He just needs a few more practices with the NHL’er to bring his game up and he’s our guy.
[Reply]
Lokti is making it pretty impossible for the coaching staff to deny him a roster spot.
What a great problem to have, like TM said yesterday.

Muzzin continues to impress….he plays beyond his years, so I’d give him the nod over Hickey when Greener returns….like someone said previously, give Hickey a full year at MANchester, and he’ll likely be about ready
for the NHL….he does have great potential, but Muzz is
ahead of him development-wise from what I’ve seen so far….utility man? we don’t need him…there’s no upside there..

Does anyone know if the practice in Vegas is free to the public?? Someone posted a while back that last years frozen Fury had the practices free to the public.. Do you have any info about that, RICH?

I really don’t have any idea. Your best bet is probably to call the MGM Grand arena, as they would be the ones opening (or not opening) the doors, not the Kings/Avalanche. The only Kings practice at the arena will be Saturday’s morning skate.

@Jwood, practice is not open to everyone. The booster club was granted access to morning skate if you purchased game tickets from them. There are 124 people from the King’s boosters, and about 75 from the Colorado Buleliners club.
