The Kings rallied from a 2-0 second-period deficit and won behind goals from Michal Handzus, John Zeiler, Brad Richardson and Justin Williams. Jarret Stoll had two assists and Williams also had an assist. Jonathan Bernier went the distance in goal as the Kings unofficially outshot the Avalanche 42-23. Some game notes to come…
Way to go Kings! 41 shots on goal. That’s the way it’s done.

The first of many victories this year… Way to bounce back after trailing early. And it was the regulars (Zeus, Richardson, Williams) able to get it done.
