Quite a busy period for both teams. There were three goals and two fights, and the Kings were unable to score on a two-minute, 5-on-3 advantage late in the second period. The Kings are now 1-for-9 on the power play and 3-for-3 on the penalty kill. As for the fights, Daryl “Larry Merchant” Evans called for the first fight for Kevin Westgarth over David Koci, and the second fight (Jordan Nolan vs. Cameron Gaunce) seemed to be a draw. Jonathan Bernier is still in goal for the Kings. Shots were 15-9 Kings in the period and are 28-15 Kings for the game.
Seems like the shots are there….as for 1 for 9 on the power play….something to work on….
