A reader named Chasen, who has been very kind to share his photos from practice in the past, has done so again and has taken some great shots from the first couple days of Kings training camp. Thanks to Chasen for sharing!
Today, the Kings have a scrimmage “game” scheduled for 9:45 a.m. in El Segundo, for those players who won’t be making the trip to Colorado for tomorrow’s exhibition opener.
Thanks, Chasen! Man, can’t believe hockey’s just around the corner…
Is it just me, or does the logo look smaller on these jerseys?

Thank you Chasen and Rich…..
I didn’t think it was possible to be more “geeked” up than I already was.
How much did Clifford look like Sidney Crosby? probably just that shot but i definitely looked closer.
Excellent pics thanks again

Who is making the trip to Colorado tomorrow

AWSOME! Very awsome. And I gotta get me one of those yellow practice jersey’s, I’ll have to sale the dog. Course might loose the girlfriend over that. But who cares, Kings are coming. Hockey is F’n coming!

Thanks for the close-ups and identification for each player. Great job.

Thanks for posting Rich (and Chason). Does it strike anyone else as wierd that the Kings social media stuff is severly lacking? I mean, they have a twitter account/FB page but their posts are really lacking. The Monarchs actually post more (especially photos) than the Kings.
I don’t expect Rich to handle that sort of thing, he’s doing a great job with the articles. It just seems odd that we are relying on fan sources (like Chason and the Mayor) to provide us with our Kings fix instead of the organization. Don’t get me wrong, we are LUCKY to have dedicated fans who do an amazing job of picking up the PR slack.
Maybe they just need to hire someone full time? Or maybe I’m just biased because I am engaged in social media for my job (I’m availble if AEG is looking).

Was Clune missing those teeth at Hockeyfest? Maybe he just did a great job keeping his mouth shut. He did seem pretty quiet when signing autographs haha.
Thanks Chasen, and Thank You Rich for all the incredible work you do. Great to see you’re back to old form with 5+ posts a day. My productivity has already dropped significantly and it’s just preseason!

@Choralone,
The colors of the jerseys represent the different lines they were practicing in.

@Niko,
Clune’s been missing his teeth for quite some time. He has a flipper (a retainer with fake teeth) he can put in for everyday life.

Thank you Chasen. Great photos!

Does Voynov look like the guy who won that America’s talent show?

Great job, Chasen! Got some great moments showing some real personality.

Am I the only one who likes the design of the practice jerseys better than the alternate 3rd jersey?

These photos get me all excited! I honestly don’t know what to expect this season. Hoping for good stuff.

Great shots! I shoot the TSC NHL rink all the time because my son plays for the Jr. Kings, and it’s a real challenge to get the sharp, nice bright shots without a lot of grain in the pictures. Very well done. This is coming from a guy that’s logged over 100,000 images on that rink over the past 5-years.
Go Kings!

Thanks to Rich for posting these photos and thanks to everyone for the kind words.
I just started shooting photos last season so I’m glad to hear it sounds like I’m moving in the right direction!
Thanks again & Go Kings!
