    Rich –

    Semi off topic, but Hockeyfest related –

    I took my 3 year old and 5 year old boys up there from San Diego with the main purpose of getting to meet Brownie and getting his autograph and pic with the boys.

    We waited for 45 min to find out that the cut off was 5 people in front of us. So we were in the overflow line and they said we’d probably get in. We waited there for another hour (1:45 total) only to find out that we weren’t going to make it in because the line moved too slow inside.

    It was such a bummer! I know that if Brown had seen my 5 year old in his Brown jersey he would have wanted to hook him up, but it just didn’t happen.

    What is the best way for me to make this up to the kids? Go to a practice and try to flag him down after? Get to a game really early? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

    Thanks!

    @UpperV, ive never written on here before but any practice after practice brown parks in the main lot and walks out and signs stuff. sometimes on game days the security is strict but if you go any time during training camp or days where there isnt a game im sure hed be more then happy to sign it for you

    @UpperV, coming from san diego (san marcos) as well and brownie is real cool about talking. once you get him going he’ll talk forever, he’s an awesome guy, same with greener and quick. just go to a practice, take your kids and make a day of it. after practice have him sign stuff. i even see rich and we catch up too! btw rich i still owe you a lunch this year! i may be up there next week so let me know!

    @cartmans_dad,
    Just really slow, they have to download the whole thing before they play. Took me about 10 mins with a decent connection.
