Berube made a good save, but the Kings couldn’t clear and Michael Stone scored with 2:41 remaining in the period. We’re now in the first intermission.

    Do they look good overall so far? I mean, in these games, the score doesn’t mean anything. For the prospects games, it’s all about testing their hockey IQ, not whether they can score ten goals a game.

    @Kevin Y,

    Great point. These games are in no way a reflection, one way or another, of the Kings season this year. Yes it’s nice to get the win, but as long as out prospects get a good showing in a game environment that’s what matters.
