Two more California natives went fairly early today. Jason Zucker, a left winger and Newport Beach native, went 59th (second round) to Minnesota. Zucker played locally for the Los Angeles Hockey Club. Taylor Aronson, a defenseman and Placentia native, went 78th (third round) to Nashville. Aronson played locally for the Junior Kings.
This is just the tip of the iceberg for great talented hockey players coming out of Los Angeles-California

Growing up just outside of L.A. and feeling like nobody even knew about the NHL, it is awesome to see California being represented like this at the 2010 draft.

id love to poker with dean, he is so easy to read, big defense in the first and small forward in the second. doughty was an easy pick, but trading for teuert, instead of meyers? excuse me, but what were you reading? hey kings fans he is not as good as he thinks he is.

@smitty, good point, when DL came to the Kings they were ranked as the 27th organization in terms of prospect strength. now, the kings are ranked second, but DL thinks the Kings are the top organization in hockey.
