Monarchs win Game 4

Dwight King’s second-period goal held up as the Manchester Monarchs beat the Hershey Bears 1-0 in Game 4 of the AHL Eastern Conference Finals at Manchester. The best-of-seven series is now tied 2-2, with Game 5 to be played Thursday at Manchester. Jonathan Bernier stopped all 18 shots he faced for his third shutout in 14 playoff games. King scored the game’s only goal, 9:11 into the second period, with assists from Bud Holloway and Andrei Loktionov.
