I know that Kingsfans emotions are with Bernier for MVP,but articles are springing up everywhere about Holloway. What a great story.

Wow what a difference a season makes. Last year this kid stunk it up so bad down there he was banished to Ontario of the ECHL. Lucky for him he found his game and helped lead the team to the playoffs. Good for him. Hopefully he keeps growing and continues his development.

@EASportsMgt, I wouldn’t say he stunk it up.
He wasn’t as good as he is now, but there were also players there who had earned a position over him. Essentially, once Moulson was banished, Holloway was out.

@EASportsMgt, I agree with Holly. I saw Holloway at Ontario and he tore it up there for 60+ games. The Reigns first year I believe he was called up after his juniors season was done and he lite it up. Then he lead the team in scoring playing abit more than half the season there. Last year the AHL team was stacked Parse, Moller, Moulson, Boyle, Clune, & Purcell were down there when they sent Holloway back to Ontario.

@luc20rules, Thinking about it the Monarchs are probably set up with the prospects that are closest to there RFA status. The Kings needed to evaluate the older players first as they were running out of decision making time with the number of prospects in the system. I think the next step is getting prospects up to the Kings for a few games for evaluation. It won’t cost them much unless they stay for more than 10 games.

Actually, I think he only played 30 games for the Reign.

Kyle Clifford got the call up today to the AHL!!
Hope we can see this kid with the kings sometime next year!

Bud is smoking, and smoking buds are always a good thing.

Rich, any chance we will be getting a highlight reel of Holloways 6 game winning goals?
PLEASE!

Aw, way to sneak in that “obviously” there at the end of the interview bud–the same way you’ve been sneaking in goals in the last second of the game! Obviously this guy needs to be brought up and given a chance….
[Reply]
I feel left out. I don’t know anything about the Monarchs
