The Canucks are expected to make one lineup change tonight, with Tanner Glass replacing Michael Grabner. As we know, Scott Parse will replace the injured Rich Clune on the Kings’ fourth line. Here’s what Terry Murray said today about his fourth line, and his plans for possibly shortening his bench or making changes during the game.
MURRAY: “I want to play four lines. We have our fourth line set up, right now, in a way that gives me some flexibility to play them more, play them against some of the better lines and then, if necessary, make some changes.”

MURRAY: “That kind of dictates itself, as the game goes along. We need to get some stuff going in the offensive zone. I think it helps to have that fourth line set up the way it is. They’re capable. All of the players on that line are offensive-minded players, can score and have scored a lot in the past. So if we have the four lines going, great, but if it’s necessary to move some people around, the option is there.”

Let’s make sure the Vancouver Canucks are happy that they play in a weaker division when they face us tonight. Let’s make them understand that what happened in the past is not indicative of what will happen in the future. We will go out, play the way Kings know how to win, stay out of the penalty box, get under their skin every chance we get, crash the net, and stick our asses in Luongo’s face each and every time we are in front of the net.
Win or lose, it will be done on home ice, on your terms, and with your game. Make sure everyone knows that there is no question that the Kings belong in the playoffs. Know that your fans are behind you, and that most of all WE BELIEVE!!

Quick VS Bernier
We are desperate right now in my opinion. Whether Quicks fault or the teams fault, kings havent played as well with Quick towards the end of the season. They may be shaky with him in goal or nervous about taking chances. It seems when Quicks in net the other team gets an early goal. He usually comes up big in the 3rd, overtime or shootouts. I’m not blaming Quick but kings have don e horrible with him the second half of the season. Down 3-2 in the series I think its desperate time. I like how Bernier controls the tempo of the game by not allowing rebounds. Whatever it is in his style it works for the kings. They play better and he plays well for them.

Jason-I’m not quite sure that this means that Bernier should be called up to play the last possible game for the Kings. If he loses, what will everyone say. I mean, EE has won 3 games, and everyone is always on his game about how “there is no confidence in his play”. The team has confidence in Quick I think because they realize on more that one occassion, they have hung him out to dry. Bernier is an experiment that is best tested in the 2010-2011 season, just my opinion.
