    I feel sorry for the players. TM should be fired for his playoffs goalie decision.

    Quick should also be traded away as soon as possible, with every minute he play, his value is dropping.

    GO KINGS GO! im losing my voice here at home. Win or lose tonight i will be very happy with the kings and the staff of what this team has done this season. It’s just going to get better and i cant wait! Thanks Rich for all of your hard work and every blog you write! I speak for everyone when i say we love your hard work and what you do for us fans. The off season is going to be exciting with the moves the kings are going to make everything is going the right way and i have been waiting my whole life for this!

    i know i sound like i think this is it but i dont i think the kings are going to win tonight and tuesday!

    i love quick but you would be blind not to see that he is not sure of him self. And there is there is a lot that has caused that. its a downward spiral, he needs to fight his demons

    Actually here is my suggestion. You should start coaching midgets, work your way up to High School hockey and then eventually the pros. And when you become a master coach, let us know.

    Totally agree…he’s lost his confidence and even worse, he looks very slow, almost like he’s had a concussion…seriously, could he be hurt and not have told anyone? This is not the guy that played in net for the Kings first 2/3 of the season.

    While Los Angeles’ all-time record in best-of-seven series when looking to avoid elimination is only 13-18, the Kings have won their last six straight Game 6′s dating back to 1993. They have not lost a series in Game 6 since 1992. For the Canucks, their record in games where they have a chance to clinch a best-of-seven series is 11-9 but have lost two Game 6′s in a row dating back to 2007.

    It’s been a great year. Quick certainly hasn’t been the same and Luongo played well. It’s disappointing but I’m not gonna blame anyone. I think that they’ll only get better from this experience, and for all of you who’ve had enough of Quick, you don’t much see the big picture…. but Bernier will be up next year and I think they have other things to concern themselves with beyond their goaltending. 5 on 5 play for me is a bigger issue than the goaltending.
    No new baby and not having to play 72 games should help.

    Unfortunately Luongo was the difference in this series. Luongo outplayed Quick and he stole games 1 and 6 tonight for them, even when he didn’t play his best earlier in the series.

    We all knew we were going to live or die with Quick and unfortunately it was the latter. I can’t wait till Bernier takes over next year!
