Nice! Two Halperns!
[Reply]
“Clune-Halpern-Halpern”
Our own set of twins!
[Reply]
so far so good, i like williams on with zeus and jones with johnson (better that then him with greene)
Frolov has to score!
Quick has to rebound!
PP has to remain solid and for christs sake, NO MORE TOO MANY MEN! Those are the worst penalties.
And why is Halpern centering Halpern and Clune??? Did you mean Ivanans, Harrold??? Who’s the mystery man?
[Reply]
Where is Stolly?
[Reply]
when did halpern turn into mikus? i thought only mikus could play in 2 spots at once!!!
[Reply]
Stoll?
[Reply]
Should probably be Stoll centering the 4th line?
[Reply]
No Stoll, WOW!! Nice to see Willy get back in but who’s going to win a faceoff for us? Hasn’t been Zues lately.
[Reply]
I think Rich meant Clune-Stoll-Halpern…
[Reply]
I’m confused…
[Reply]
@ wavesinair
beat me to it! i imagine one of the “twins” will be stoll tho (i’m hoping)
[Reply]
It appears Versus is broadcasting the Detroit/Phoenix game. Any other TV sources other than Fox which blacks out outside of the region?
[Reply]
If Rich meant Clune-Stoll-Halpern, I think we can roll 4 solid lines tonight. With the wonder twins chipping in on penalty killing and getting max ice time, keeping our players fresh, but mercilessly hard and heavy all night might just be the stategy needed to shut down their offense. Especially if we go into overtime, or Alberts gets his standard 8+ pim.
Go Kings!!
[Reply]
Looking forward to the correction of the typo–good move, Rich, just making sure we’re paying attention, it was on purpose, I know–but I am enjoying the concept of Jeff Halpern becoming the first player in NHL history to be double-shifted on the same shift.
[Reply]
So glad to see Willy inserted back in, I think we really need him to grind a victory out of this series. I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets paired back up with Kopi if he has his legs under him during the game.
Stolly on our 4th line certainly makes us very deep at center. I don’t want to see his minutes cut too badly though.
[Reply]
lol, good one, Mel
[Reply]
Maybe halpern has a stick in each hand? ninja style?
Kinda sucks that Parse is probably scratched. hopefully Clune picks it up, and we can do that 4 line roll and keep the SeQueens shut down all night.
LOL @ Alberts and his 8+ PIM!! ain’t that the truth.
my money is on a 2 min minor, 5 min boarding, and a 10 min misconduct.
[Reply]
If I had to clone someone on the Kings, Halpern would not be my first choice.
[Reply]
Are 2 websites better than one?

[Reply]
I like the Lines. I hope Williams can help shutdown the inbreeds, that’s the only concern I have.
This is a must win for the Kings tonight!
Go Kings!
[Reply]
Deepwater, if you can get CBC, they are broadcasting the Kings-Cannugets game.
[Reply]
Some people must be seeing double. When I read Rich’s article it said Clune-Stoll-Halpern
[Reply]
He fixed it Steve.

[Reply]
so does that mean that center ice isn’t carrying the game! I tried calling In Demand’s sports programming manager in NYC but he didn’t pick up.
[Reply]
Nice to see Williams back in. I think it will work great with him on a line with Modin and Handzus. Big bodies and a guy not afraid to shoot the puck.
[Reply]

uknojata,
Center Ice is carrying the game. It’s the LA Kings broadcast on my TV. I have dish network and live in AZ.
[Reply]
Williams has played in the past with Handzus in Philly. They were very successful together as line mates. I think it will work out.
[Reply]
THe top three lines are good, but I don’t like the 4ht line. I’d rather see Parse with SToll to get some scoring potential.
[Reply]
I’m wondering why Williams is skating on the shutdown line. Doesn’t seem like the right situation to throw him back into. But I know nothing.
[Reply]
I’m a little nervous about these lines. I feel as though Scott Parse should be in there somewhere. Williams and Jones kinda worry me. And i think Doughty and Johnson should be paired.
[Reply]
Don’t like these line and we see the result….crap
