All present, all the same

All of the Kings are on the ice for this afternoon’s practice, skating the same way they did last night, so it seems as though there are no injury issues or changes in store for tomorrow’s Game 4. Much more to come after practice…

Keep the lineup the same. There were some lapses from different people, but all in all, it was a great game top to bottom. Stick with what has been clicking. I didn’t see any reason to tinker with anything. Great game boys! Let’s do it again tomorrow.

Fans – let’s bring it again! Last night was awesome, but let’s crank it up another level!!!

The ONLY thing I might think about changing is Wiski in for Harrold. May be better and not worse than Jones.

Tookie – my only concern would be throwing in a guy that hasn’t played at all in so long. Who knows? Might work. See you tomorrow night. I am just down a bit in section 321. Upper level will be rocking!!!

Man talk about bipolar group. We win and everyone forgets Harrold turning the puck over and looking generally like he was feeling rushed by pressure. To me he and Jones made the same gaffes so where are the Harrold haters?

Exactly, fans, bring it all back tomorrow, but please, be a bit more respectful of the Canadian National Anthem. Non of this booing the Candian Anthm bs , we do not the reputation off being disrespectful fans. We’re all better than that, so cheer, dis the players, but be respectful.

    Mike,
I hear you and maybe you loose a little offense. Also Davis seems to get rocked hard at least once a game, these guys might kill him. I just think defensively hes probably the most solid at that spot, I guess that’s why I’m not the coach though. What do I know.
I’m expecting 318 to get raucous. I know my sis and I will be going bat isht crazy.

mrbrett7 – that was great last night. Right from the start. Usually we have at least some opposing fans in our section, but last night it was all Kings fans. I was kinda bummed when some in our section booed the Canadian anthem, but they made up for it when they sang our anthem out loud. I couldn’t even hear the singer on the ice because the anthem was being sung so loud. Gave me goosebumps.

Are you going to be there again tomorrow?

Harrold made me very nervous last night, but I am not sure we have a better option – Jones is a far worse choice, and Drewiske clearly doesn’t have the coaches’ confidence. I would keep my fingers crossed and let it rip again. I feel really bad for Williams, but when he does get back in he sure is going to be hungry to do the job.

Unfortunately, I think the booing fans are the bandwagoners and/or the casual, uninformed fan. Had a few in my section. During warmups, they called their friend and asked if they were allowed to leave their seat between periods! Then started to boo the Canadian National Anthem.

Larry, that may have been true in some areas, but where I was sitting, people were booing the anthem and chanting U-S-A as well. There were definitely fans booing the anthem.

What a Clown that guy was…he should have just let the crowd sing…there were enough Canadiens there last night to sing the anthem for him once it was started…all he would have had to do is finish the last verse!

    Go Kings Go!

I was in 303, their were some boo bird for the anthem, which I thought was classless, so my friend and I sung the anthem louder, I saved my boo’s for the Canucks. Please remind people that some of our most favorite Kings ARE CANADIAN, lets not insult their home.

I’d give Whiskey a shot, I thought Harry made some poor decision and Whiskey is a bigger stronger player, which we need.

I’d also make another change that might be a little polarizing here, I’d swap Fro for Williams. Fro has been almost invisible in this series, though he has not been a liability either. I think we need to give Willy a game to redeem himself and I think he will.

I guess this means we are going with only five D in the third period and we will have one less D option on the power play.

I sometimes wonder if this is TM’s decision or perhaps someone else.

I hope we don’t pay. Tomorrow is huge. I am so happy for the boys and everyone but the series is still young…

Screw suspensions. How about someone on the kings hammer them back? If a canuck gets injured, oh well… They were trying to injure numerous kings last night so pay them back with the same. No penalities, just enourmously borderline dirty hits!

IMO on Harry last night- Nucks came out throwing checks like a lawyer in Vegas with an expense account, trying to get the Kings off their game. I think it did get him off his game. I think the Nucks will be a bit more conservative tomorrow, for fear of taking a penalty. I think (hope) Harry will be okay. I don’t want to see RJ back in, and 44DD has not had a chance to regain his confidence from the injury in game situations. Not a good spot to toss a rookie in.

  36. Top Shelf says:

I agree with the comments calling for Harrold to sit, and I would put in Whiskey. In my mind, it was a coin flip between Harrold and Whiskey when Jones needed to be pulled out, so now that Harrold had an off game, let’s give Whiskey a shot.

I would still prefer Harrold over Jones, though.

I would also like to see Williams in, but just can’t come up with the right combinations of who to pull out and how to switch the lines around to make it work, so I’m fine with Williams out again.

  37. mick says:

There is more to Williams being out than anyone is aware of. It’s not his play or an injury. This is personal with TM. There is no other explaination. It sucks that a coach let’s personal issues get in the way of a man’s career or a team’s chances. It’s all about pride with TM now. He has to justify sitting Williams. Horrible coach!

My thoughts are with you! I am not doing so well myself. However, you will be at the game tomorrow…so you can get all your frustrations out and celebrate a win at the same time!

As for me…it looks like some more yelling at my 1987 Hitachi TV…I can’t believe I still have this thing! After all these years, the color is fading to white in some areas now. I am just hoping this old boot box will see a Stanley Cup before it dies…

If so are you Bi-Polar? I would of put what Bi everyone else is thinking, but didn’t want by post blocked.

Not sure after 2 wins (without Jones) you put him back in. Harrold is the weakest link…but not Jones. I have more faith in Drewiske. Maybe its time to dress 7 D. And Harrold can play wing, if you need him to.

Please don’t boo when the Canadian National Anthem is played. It shows a total lack of respect. ALL King’s fans are better than that, right? GKG

  43. Minnesota Kings Fan says:

    @mick

With all respect, how would you know it’s personal? Unless you and TM hang out, I suspect you’re guessing.

There’s plenty of evidence to suggest it’s Williams’ play that is keeping him out of the lineup. I think a more logical conclusion is that a message is being sent to the young guys that critical mistakes that lead directly to goals cannot and wil not be tolerated in the playoffs. Do it and you’ll be watching from the pressbox. I think Jones is up in the pressbox for the same reason.
