Scott Parse, coming off a two-goal game against Minnesota last night, broke the scoreless tie 7:50 into the third period. Jeff Halpern took a pass from Randy Jones, behind the Nashville net, skated in front and fed a perfect centering pass to Parse, who skated in and beat Pekka Rinne from close range for a 1-0 Kings lead.
