As previously posted, Randy Jones is expected to go back into the Kings’ lineup tonight in place of Peter Harrold, after Jones missed Monday’s game with an elbow injury.
MURRAY: “Randy Jones is ready to go. He feels good. He feels strong and has the mobility and the flexibility in his arm to do the things he needs to do, so I’m going to put him in. With that, Peter Harrold will be the defenseman coming out. There will probably be a couple other things that I do with the forwards. I’m not real sure yet on the line combinations in a couple of situations.”
Murray also gave his thoughts on Matt Greene, who returned Monday after a three-game absence with an upper-body injury. Greene played 17 minutes, 39 seconds against the Wild and had an even rating and a team-high three hits.
MURRAY: “He’s great in the locker room. That’s the first thing you notice, is that the atmosphere changes. He’s got a great voice. He keeps everybody loose. He’s funny. On the ice, he played pretty good. He competed hard, battled hard. It looked like his injury was fully recovered. He was in a lot of 1-on-1 compete situations and didn’t have any problem with it. So it was a good first game back.”
