Anatomy of a power play

If you believe in the concept of momentum, it’s pretty clear that the Kings lost it, and Minnesota gained it, early in the third period last night after the Kings failed to score on their two-minute, 5-on-3 power play. Here’s exactly how that power play went, with two shots on goal, four missed shots and three blocked shots. Blocked shots are a credit to the Wild. Four missed shots? Ouch.
