Matt Greene will miss a third consecutive game with an upper-body injury and the Kings will make one change on defense, with Peter Harrold replacing Davis Drewiske. Greene participated in today’s morning skate but his status for Monday’s game at Minnesota still seems up in the air.
MURRAY: “I’m looking at it as a day-to-day (situation). He showed improvement yesterday and is feeling a little bit better today. We’ll bring him on the road trip and we’ll see how he progresses.”
It’s good to make sure that Greene is 100% and ready for the playoffs before bringing him back to soon. Harrold & Drewiske can easily hold the fort down the next few games.

He better be ready to go by Monday, I’ll be at that game…

@Daniel,
You live out here in MN, or just visiting?

Id take Jones out and have Harrold and Drewiske play.

@Deader2818,
So you don’t want the best players in there?
Drewiske has been horrible.

Greene is my favorite King and I’m heading down from Buffalo to Nashville to watch the Kings on Tuesday. I’ll be so sad if he doesn’t play!
I’ll still wear my Greene jersey all the same even if he doesn’t play.

@Anne, Oh, I think that is the game TM has him targeted to return. That is a critical game.

@KC23, I hope so!! They NEED to beat the Predators. It’s been too long!

Greener, get better fast. Still in my prayers!!

I bet if this were during the playoffs, or winning/losing this game meant playoffs or no playoffs, he would be in the game.
