@khanon, Yeah! Where’s the Clunatic? Love the intensity.

@Masked Man,
Good Question, my answer to any moves that make no sense, TM Logic.

Masked Man Reply:

@Alen, Something had to happen in practice. Maybe Clunatic ran Kopitar a little too hard and is being punished.
Masked Man Reply:
March 25th, 2010 at 3:57 pm
@khanon, *replace Kopitar with Jones. Since we know the favoritism. Kidding don’t get mad guys. I dont wish harm on any Kings player.
[Reply]
Gee, that move will dramatically affect the outcome tonight.
[Reply]
sad.
[Reply]
Clune wouldn’t have won the game tonight. You never know… maybe Parse gets one.
That said, I would’ve liked to see the Clunatic if for no other reason than to see a little physical play.
[Reply]
I actually don’t mind Parse… I can see him becoming a more than decent 3rd line scorer.
[Reply]
It’s the wheel of wingers on the “fourth” line! Parse wins today! I’m fine with Parse or Clune…don’t care as long as Ivanans is not considered for the rest of the year.

Masked Man Reply:

@Oz, Ouch! Ivanans name should be on the bankrupt space in the wheel.

VanKingsFan Reply:

@Oz,
You know if we win the cup… Ivanans will get his name etched in there and a cup ring … hard to think about when certain greats will never get that feeling (big Dan Marino fan here…)

@VanKingsFan, You’ll be singing a different tune if Bam-Bam puts someone on the IR tonight with Ivanans out.

Masked Man Reply:

@lakingsfan19, You really think Terry Murray is a dumb as?
Kopi and Smyth can get run no matter who you have in your line up. Parse is bigger than Clune in physical size and Ivanans is just Ivanans.
tantrum4 Reply:

@NickDoh,
Agreed 100%. The only way this makes sense is if Murray looked at St Louis’ roster and saw that Jansens or Kings isn’t playing either. For the Kings’ players’ sake, I sure hope they’re not…
Belexes Reply:
March 25th, 2010 at 4:59 pm
@NickDoh,
agree with this, Not to mention DJ King. Clune would get destroyed by either.
Guys, coming almost from the source.. there never has been any Clunatic nickname.. until maybe just the last couple weeks. I wonder what it was while he was in juniors etc.

Masked Man Reply:

@VanKingsFan, Its almost offensive. I wonder if he really likes being called the Clunatic?
[Reply]
Atomic Steve Reply:
March 25th, 2010 at 4:24 pm
@VanKingsFan, According to Clune himself, one of the Kings PR staff made it up and nobody on the team calls him that.
[Reply]
Masked Man Reply:
March 25th, 2010 at 4:28 pm
@Atomic Steve, I can see why. Nobody wants him to actually lose it.

Vote of confidence for Drewiske if nothing else. Harrold isn’t in “just in case.”

We are playing the blues and clueless coach Murray scratches Ivanans and Clune?
TM your a horrible coach!!!

@lakingsfan19,
I hope no one gets hurt, because there won’t be anyone there to stand up for them!

Masked Man Reply:

@lakingsfan19, And Ivanans prevents people from getting hurt? Players don’t wear Ivanans as protective equipment.

You really don’t get it do you? It’s not even worth trying to explain..

@Masked Man,
Why try to explain Ice Hockey to a figure skating fan…
Masked Man Reply:
March 25th, 2010 at 5:04 pm
@tantrum4, Actually I do get it. But we have seen before, just having the tough guys out there doesnt stop anything. Ivanans rarely gets involved in those situations. Remember?
What happened when Greene got ran? We got a powerplay and Tucker got a suspension and we were satified with that.
I hope everybody survives this game without injury, but Ivanans doesn’t do his job. Sorry.
[Reply]
Rich, Do you know the Kings record when Harrold is in the lineup?
[Reply]
Let’s just get it done!!

Off-topic but the kings announced that for all playoff games at staples center the kings will go “Back In Black” and wear their popular 3rd jersey at all home playoff games.
[Reply]
So wait. He makes sure to play Ivanans against chicago, and decides to scratch clune against st louis?? Weird. But I know. Last week when we got shut out by chicago, frolov worked hard and sent a pass across to clune in the blue with a wide open net, and clune fanned over the shot. I think that has something to do with it. Not sure if clune has played since. I could be wrong.
