@Deke’r,
Generally speaking, those who use the phrase “boys” in a hockey context are actual hockey players, not fans…

game just started.

I think Nick Nickson is about to have a heart attack.
Richardson needs to put his chances in the net, or we lose our announcer.
Shots are 14-3 Kings.
To hear Nick:

–POINT-SCORING TIME–

Blues are so desparately trying to give this game away, and the Kings don’t want it.
[Reply]
Gotta score here because there is going to be an even up call sooner or later.

Watching the Blues feed has been pure joy.
Zeus has gotten completely under the skin of the broadcasters.

no, when he was at the blue line, wiffed on the puck allowing the shot to be taken and the goal to be scored.

All those chances; we can’t score.
They come down and Quick can’t keep it out….

@AK47,
You were right: Nashville wins in a shootout!
[Reply]
the Kings are playing down to their opponent’s standing as they often do.
[Reply]
We were soooooo close in the previous stretch……..
I haven’t liked Quick’s goal-mouth awareness and response pattern lately. Too many cheap goals for the opposition, while we take it to them and can’t get it thru. We need the timely save! I think we would’ve scored sooner or later; now it’s a huge let-down and doubtful to come back.
[Reply]
I might have to eat my words about Quick. Not his fault for the loss.
[Reply]
Capt Jam Reply:
March 25th, 2010 at 7:31 pm
@Masked Man,
Not his fault, but as he has done in recent games, he set the team off on the wrong path early on.
Hopefully, EE gets the nod on Saturday.
