The Kings pulled within 2-1 with a power-play goal at the 4:38 mark of the third period. After a St. Louis defensive-zone turnover by Barret Jackman, Dustin Brown scored on a close-range wrist shot.

    We were soooooo close in the previous stretch……..

    I haven’t liked Quick’s goal-mouth awareness and response pattern lately. Too many cheap goals for the opposition, while we take it to them and can’t get it thru. We need the timely save! I think we would’ve scored sooner or later; now it’s a huge let-down and doubtful to come back.

    Not his fault, but as he has done in recent games, he set the team off on the wrong path early on.
