DOUGHTY: “It’s huge getting that win in that last game. I know that our focus tonight was exactly how it has to be for all of our games. We kept things simple and didn’t do too many cute things. That’s why we came out strong and came out with a win. Hopefully we can remember the things we did tonight, and bring that in after the break.”

DOUGHTY: “The penalty killers did a great job there. Quicker made some big saves there, and that was definitely a turning point for us. We got a little momentum from that, and a little bit of confidence, and from that point on, and in the third period, I thought we really dominated and took it to them.”

Great game. Good to see them back on track. Exactly Doughty kept it simple and kept the cute stuff to a minimum if at all. Watching this game they were DECISIVE. Getting the puck, taking a man, coverage in their zone they all were decisive and didn’t second guess themselves. That’s when you get into trouble. PP needs some help. They looked pretty indecisive there. They did just about every but put the puck on net. Maybe they should just focus on getting that puck to the net and go from there. Good win, good hustle and grit!
