ersberg will be fine he is just as good as quick!
quick needs a break anyways. his save percentage is slowly going down and down and its not even at 91. can you say overrated?

Flu-like symptoms = needs a day off. Give JQ a break, he deserves it. At least they didn’t call it an “upper-body injury”. Sweet USA helmet too.

And every team is looking to screw the Canadians now that Gainey is out, dreaming up every scenario to dump their underachiving (lazy) players for prospects and/or draft choices, just like the Habs used to do under Sam Pollack back in the day. Can’t imagine that Le Bleu, Blanc et Rouge will do any deals before the Olympic break.

WRT to Quicker…hope he doesn’t get the flu during the playoffs. Just a thought, though I guess there are probably about 15 teams who would have similar concerns about now–looking forward, that is.

Good timing, if there is such a thing, against the oil slick. Hopefully it’ll help the team take them as seriously as they need to. I hope the best for Ersberg, who’s done a pretty good job of keeping sharp the last few outings, even though he hasn’t gotten too many opportunities.

WRT Lappy, I’d love to see him back if it “happens” (I.E., if it’s a fortuitous arrangement, not something paid too much for.) It would be great if he retired a King.

D’Agostini was a teammate of Doughty here in Guelph, but make no mistake, he was at best a 2nd liner there. Callahan (NYR) was ten times the player, and would have been a great guy to scoop up.
