Ducks 4, Kings 2

A goal with 1:04 remaining in the second period allowed the Kings to pull within one goal. At the end of a power play, Anze Kopitar executed a give-and-go play with Ryan Smyth. Kopitar passed, then went to the net and one-timed a shot past Hiller.

The Ducks got their two-goal lead back just 24 seconds later. Corey Perry carried the puck into the Kings’ zone, skated a little wide of Sean O’Donnell to create space, then sent a wrist shot to the far post that cleanly beat Quick with 1:30 remaining.

Quick practiced with his USA pads so he jinxed himself. Kings lose because of Quick’s laziness and bad penalties. 2 things that weren’t there during the streak.

The Ducks are the hungrier team right now. We need another miraculous comeback in the 3rd. If the Quacks get the next goal, it’s over.

Doughty wants to get it down. Not uncommon. Only down two. They’ve dug themselves out of larger but they must stop putting themselves in such a hole early in a game.

Yep, Kings don’t look like they want to win this game, but hey anything could happen. Someone needs to start hitting Corey Perry, Drewiske is horrible tonight, I would rather see Harold, Quick may be pulled in the third.

Maybe TM need to go Bobby Knight in the locker room to wake the boys up. On the bright side, if there is one, they’re only two goals down despite their horrible play. I dunno, time to bring in EE?

WTF?! What is everyone doing out there?! The boys don’t seem to have any kind of spark at all. Too many penalties and now Quick reverting to his old self of letting goals in in the final moments of a game. I guess we have to see if we’re really a 3rd period team.

Boy, Kings look very out of sorts, as Nick Nickson has said a couple times. I really couldn’t listen to Haywood talking so I got Nick & Daryl online now, much better in that area, now just have to wake the Kings.

Glad Smytty is okay, needed him on Kopi’s goal. It does seem Quick is also a little out of it too.

    C’mon boys, lets go!!!

What’s doughty’s problem today, slow on defense, not shooting the puck, he needs to wake up!

OD has been the key to some give aways and goals lately. Give him a rest for a game or 2.

Quick gave up a bad goal oh well, he made 2 saves(the 1 was amazing) before the 5-on-3 goal and had no chance on the RG goal.

Who’s turning? I think people are just stating the obvious. No one is burning their jersey. Too many penalties and Quick getting scored on. Period.

Got to agree, maybe not good thing to put Wiskey in this game, that little play he messed up on could be game changer, altho the guys need to wake the heck up. Looks like Calgary game at home Nov. 21, they are sleepwalking so far.

Someone is yelling in the room I hope.

We are NOT better than that for laughing at injured players here, especially if they are Quacks. Rivalry is a rivalry, until they aren’t in the building.

Getzlaugh is only getting hair transplants in the lockerroom, so don’t fear too much.

Nick just spoke with our boy RICH on 1150!!! You go boy!!!

The Kings have to hit Corey Perry every chance they get. They let this guy skate all over the place. Knock him on his butt when he is around the net. The Kings must get more physical around the net.
