i want to see brian burke freak-out and hide in the rafters…
something tells me the toronto fans won’t be clearing any sections for him…:)
[Reply]
jeez nice flurry by toronto at the end.
no excuses. We should absolutely win this game
[Reply]
I liked seeing Johnson activate down low like that during the PP. That kind of aggressiveness on this team equals confidence. No time to get comfortable. Keep up the aggression.
[Reply]
V:
You are probably right about BB. Not only will they not clear the section, they might voluteer to catch him…
BB is just SO loved.
[Reply]
awe variable, glory hound…
I love the highlights-only recap just after the period they do.
[Reply]
Harrold, not Scuderi, I think.
Variable: vicious, but hilarious.
[Reply]
Amazing effort by the lads in the second period!!!
I haven’t seen a Kings team that determined in years!!
I don’t know if we’ll win tonight, but their play was just exceptional!
[Reply]
how about 19-0 when leading after 2? sound like a good stat to y’all?
[Reply]
WAVES…
i couldn’t resist the re-post..i got a lil’ indulgent…sorry all y’all..:)
[Reply]
Joe, I think they Kings will win. It will be a brutal 3rd for the Leafs.
[Reply]
I just loved BB’s Roger Rabbit moment at the 2009 Entry Draft…
[Reply]
Great game so far for sure. Smyths wrister was a beauty.
Leafs 2ns goal was kinda iffy to me. Was a bit of a breakdown by the Kings.
Simmonds had a beautiful chance but put it off the side of the net.
All in all, Kings are playing pretty damn good me thinks. Very glad to see that PP drought end.
[Reply]
So far the Kopi line is -4, Simmonds and Kopi with -1 each and Richardson with -2. They are matched up pretty well by TO
[Reply]
“how about 19-0 when leading after 2? sound like a good stat to y’all?”
Sounds ok. Heh. But of course it’s not over until it’s over.
[Reply]
jorgen–good stat!
They better pick it up.
[Reply]
Brown,Johnson showin off, just a small taste of USA hockey for all you canadians out there.
[Reply]
JORGEN…
props for that call-out…!
[Reply]
Hey guys, I can’t recall, do we have a hat trick this year?
[Reply]
Kopi had one I think
[Reply]
rich on the radio…
[Reply]
Yes, Kopi got his first Hatty this year…
[Reply]
that is true, keeper. I am just thinking about the record when leading after 2 after tonight.
Would be nice to make Toronto 0-25-5 when trailing after 2, also.
The Kings are playing with a new spark after that win at the Joe. Hope it will work all through this road trip. would be nice to get 2 points in every game.
[Reply]
it’s all good v.
[Reply]
Tim Hunter, still the worst nose in hockey!
[Reply]
yeah…lol..hunter’s nose is like the profile of a jack on a playing card…
[Reply]
Kings:
-Me hungry. I-want-more-goals!-
[Reply]
yes…B…i want to win 10-2…!
[Reply]
finger got quicked…!
[Reply]
Quick’s back! Better late than never
[Reply]
MONSTER SAVE!!!!
[Reply]
Kings absolutely dominating zone time this third period.
[Reply]
that was a terrible decision by parse, right?
[Reply]
yeah bad decision by parse..good save by quick
[Reply]
Yep. Kind of tough decision though. He probably thought he had support. Frankly , I did too! There were 3 Kings in front of Kessel there.
[Reply]
Nice to hear them rip Kessel during the break. Guy still hasn’t figured out it’s a team game.
[Reply]
It is amazing to hear the commentators for the Leafs singing the praises the Kings. They are saying that the Kings are just owning the offensive zone times with some killer play.
[Reply]
These are some of the better line combos we’ve seen this year. Great shift by Zeus line.
[Reply]
felt like he should have obviously stayed with kessel until he gave up the puck or hit him…
[Reply]
MESQUITE…
they always do a very commendable job…
[Reply]
someone needs to teach the stats people for rogers how to read.. they Kings are 18-0-0 when leading after 2.
[Reply]
they stated it as 17-0-4
[Reply]
GO COLUMBUS!
GO DETROIT (OUCH!)
No 3 point games here…
[Reply]
Waves- You’re correct it would have been the safer play.
[Reply]
i heard a line today on nhl network that went something like, “if the leafs won the cup, the toronto media would criticize the parade route.” classic!
[Reply]
Did JJ and Kessel reminisce over their 2k10 commercial
[Reply]
Nice seeing Molls up with Zeus & Fro
[Reply]
the boys are just playing awesome here in the 3rd
[Reply]
wow…brown…keep it going…!
[Reply]
Leafs are starting to play desperate. We gotta match em.
[Reply]
i want to put this game in da’ refrigerator already….
[Reply]
LOL Waves! So true…..
[Reply]
The 5-2 goal would be the final daggar…
[Reply]
agreed cynic. The Kings need to play with the same intensity as the Leafs at this point.
[Reply]
I like when we play like this. I’m more concerned with what I’m gonna eat after the game than whether we’re gonna choke. Keep up the solid hockey boys.
[Reply]
Crap. Nashville is creeping back against Columbus.
[Reply]
yeah brown’s a madman tonight. it’s funny though how awkward he always seems to look during odd man rushes… its always been strange to me.
[Reply]
Time to adjust the breakout, Leafs are pinching at the blue line more now…Our stationary guy on half borads needs to be moving, or else very careful to neutralize d-man
[Reply]
Go Atl, too…just because
[Reply]
i know we gotta be careful…
but toronto is very vulnerable to getting caught up ice…you can start to see it..
[Reply]
The Crappy team from Orange County is down 2-1 to the Thrashers, and the Dogs are still tied 2-2 with the wings.
[Reply]
Quick thinks he’s Turco now. Good!
[Reply]
As long as Quick doesn’t do that goofy two foot hop thing Turco does at game start. He looks like a drunken Cossack or something
[Reply]
CBJ is going to beat NSH, 3-2…
[Reply]
CAnadian commercials are great.
It’s not delivery, it’s Delissio!!!!
[Reply]
detriot scored.
3-2 det
[Reply]
Quacks on the PK with 1:06 to play, 1-2 with ATL…
[Reply]
Yahhh!! Hrudey reference!!!
[Reply]
Way to go COLUMBUS!!
Det up 3-2!
Atl up 2-1!
[Reply]
Did they just call Hrudeys goaltending “solid”?!
[Reply]
Moller is looking good on the wing. I hope TM finds a way to keep him there.
[Reply]
CBJ FINAL
CBJ 3-2 NSH
[Reply]
Delissio = DiGiornio in U.S.
[Reply]
Quacks lose, 1-2 ATL
[Reply]
Nice solid finish. Lookin good.
[Reply]
sweeeeeet scoreboard, stars aligned…
[Reply]
Hey back in the mid 90s a 3.2 GAA was average. So yah, solidly average, which is good for a kings keeper.
[Reply]
ATL FINAL
