WTF Kenneth… i miss ScrappyLappy too… wish he was still with us… i think he can still play… i’d rather have him on our 4th line than Drago-nans… i wonder what his faceoff % is these days… i seem to remember it being pretty good

Quisp- I really hope you’re actually Dean Lombardi himself when you say that. I think that’s the only way I could get a guarantee of that. Pocklington was known to say he would never think of trading Gretzky and we all know how that turned out.

I’m glad there are others who feel the same here about Simmer.

I fully hope that when I go to the Insider suite on the 11th, Dean Lombardi comes in, shakes my hand, and introduces himself by saying: “Hey Cynic! I’m Quisp. Don’t worry about Simmer”.

@Bako… Hey Bako, you remember you were saying how boring NJ was? Well the other nigh(sat) I had the choice of watching NJ vs NYI (which was at the time tied 2-2) and Mont vs. NYR (which at the time was 5-0 Habs). Guess which game I watched…yep, the Habs leading 5-0. It made me think, ‘wow, I think Bako was onto something there about NJ. Truth be told both were pretty poor. The Kings game vs Detroit sounded far more appealing though a bit nerve racking.

Right on, Cynic. Simmonds has got to be untouchable at this point. Besides the heart and soul thing, he’s come so far in making himself a complete player in less than two full seasons, and I still think he has a way to go before he tops out in terms of skills.

I think you’re right: He’ll be like Lappy, except he’ll be a legit scorer on top of that.

If the King’s do well in Canada they’ll move up in the rankings. We’ve sucked in Canada this year save for a few wins Vs the last place Oilers.

I’ll be very interested to see what happens against the Leaf’s. I think that town is still pissed about 93.
