Harrold in, Martinez out

After practice today, Terry Murray said Peter Harrold will replace Alec Martinez in the lineup tomorrow. Davis Drewiske is making progress, but there’s no real timetable on his return.

More from practice soon, most notably a fairly extensive evaluation of the Kings’ offense by Murray…

I hope Martinez isn’t already on his way back to Manchester.Last time he was incerted right back in the line up before he even left.

Not much of a surprise here if you figure it was either Jones or Martinez. They’re basically the same type of player, but Jones has the edge in experience and he’s produced offensively, which is something Martinez has yet to do this season.

For every goal that Jones gets, 2 or 3 of them end up back in our net as a direct result of him. Almost as bad as JJ

when is DL gonna make a move? is he gonna continue this skid? the kings have always needed a sniper… when this year started we were lucky to get by with what we have but without that game changing sniper, we’ll continue to slide….

I figured as much. As I have said I like this kid a lot but the last game although he didnt play bad and get out of position or anything, he definitely lacked the compete that TM wants from his players. That was the reason he has been sent down all along. He needs to use his great skating ability to hustle a little more and figth a little harder. IF this kid can show the intensity that say a Greene brings to the ice, he is going to be a great d-man for the Kings. But that is a big IF

Ok Badgoltending. I think we’ve had enough of that now. Unless you are hammered at 1:30 on a tuesday, there is really no excuse for posting one ‘poem’ let alone 3.
