Here’s hoping Randy Jones is ready to go.
[Reply]
jacob muzzin?
[Reply]
If Jones can’t go, maybe they can call up Voynov.
[Reply]
What is up with all these bone injuries? Maybe it’s time to give some of the players Boniva.
I agree, time to call up Voynov
[Reply]
Damn! Injures are a regular thing in the NHL this year. 1 or 2 every night it seems. Get better soon!
[Reply]
I think Jones or Harrold will take his place. No call up IMHO.
[Reply]
Voynov
[Reply]
Rich,
Thank you very much for the prompt info!
[Reply]
Harrold is an adequate 3rd pairing defenseman if Jones is not ready to play
[Reply]
I like our depth this year. Dewey was having a solid year for us.
[Reply]
Seattle 757 I do live in Sea-Town and like your screen name involved in the aviation field. We should watch a game sometime. Nice to know I am not the only fan Kings fan in Seattle.
[Reply]
harrold or jones should be good…..ahhhh the perks of finally having reliable back ups.
[Reply]
If Randy Jones isn’t ready to go then call up Voynov he’s a complete stud! Harrold sucks on D and is undersized I would much rather have Voynov called up.
[Reply]
Raising a glass to Drewiski. Great job buddy. Hurry back.
[Reply]
I never want to hear of an injury to a player, but I have more respect to hear it’s a “shoulder injury” than the vague “upper body injury” sort of stuff we’ve been getting. As a fan, I don’t need to know if it is dislocated, broke or sprained, just a bit more definition is appreciated.
Thank you Coach Murray. Heal quickly Drew.
[Reply]
i agree, i would LOVE to see voinov… but if they’re looking to someone to come in and play DD’s role, it might be bagnall or piskula…2 more seasoned stay at homers.
though replacing DD with VV would be awesome. I think another D on the PP point would be helpful… 2 minutes of PP for drew might be a little taxing on a player.
[Reply]
I was just thinking that it was odd that Murray was so quick to indicate “shoulder,” as opposed to upper-body. Almost as if it shows no respect to Drewiske. If it were Johnson or Doughty it almost certainly would have been “upper body,” for fear of someone getting wind of the specificity of the location.
[Reply]
Having never seen Voynov play, I can guarantee that he reeks of Norris trophy when standing next to Peter “Posterized” Harrold. Number 5 is a total f’ing liability. That said, I still think a call-up is unlikely.
[Reply]
what a bummer…
[Reply]
I saw the play. It was early in the game, and DD went near the boards in his end. A Shark came flying across and really followed through on his check. DD’s arm kinda got pinned. When i saw it i said to my girl, “Uh oh, that looked wierd.” She even said on replay his arm may have been dislocated. Either way, he went on with the play for a second, then went to the bench.
[Reply]
VOYNOV!….. Or Harrold
[Reply]
i dont see murray calling anyone up. i see harrold making a start or two and then randy stepping in when hes ready.
[Reply]
Ok I know everyone likes Voynov but what a disrespect to Martinez. I mean not only did this guy make the opening day roster (granted only because OD is suspended but he was chosen). If not for his injury Jones probably never gets picked up on waivers. And the Last time a D-man was needed he got the call and played very well. My vote is for Martinez to get called back. I like his game and his great skating ability. Once he builds confidence at his game here he is going to be awesome.
[Reply]
Even though EASport sounds like Martinez’s agent, I tend to agree with him here. Martinez looks good in Man, both in clearing the front and with moving the puck.
[Reply]
If someone is going to be called up, why not give Campbell a shot, that would give us a break in Manchester.
[Reply]
Actually, a dislocation could be better than a separation. It depends whether it is anterior or posterior, and if it involves fracture or labral injury.
Dx by MRI/We’ll see.
[Reply]
LOL.
Yes, I’m all for getting rid of Campbell in any way possible.
[Reply]
Seattle 757, Kingsfan in Seattle – I am there as well. I’ve lived near Everett for almost 20 years. If you decide to find a bar that is showing the game, knock on my door as well!
[Reply]
Good points, I think I will definitely subscribe! I’ll go and read some more! What do you see the future of this being?
