Lets hope Stoll is ready to go…
[Reply]
agreed… a healthy Stoll would add major dynamic to the roster again… he was on fire before he got hurt… always seemed to score right when we needed it… should add alot to the 2nd unit power play too… hope hes back to game shape…
[Reply]
I really like Stoll, he does everything to help the team win. Kills penalties, wins faceoffs, gets in on the forecheck and throws checks, adds a big shot from the point on the PP, and chips in the goals when needed. He’s one of those glue pieces that teams desperately need to be contenders. The type of player that doesn’t get the big accolades or exposure that the stars get, but a player you need to win nonetheless.
[Reply]
Would somebody need to be sent to Manchester to make room for Stoll or Jones?
[Reply]
A healthy Stoll should help win some of those one goal games. Let’s hope he’s ready to go at SJ and that Teddy remains a scratch.

To Bako:
MANY Thanks once again for a GREAT night at Rabobank with The Condors & The Reign. Our boys gave it their all, but your boys got the OT win. One Helluva game! Don’t forget my invitation. My kids LOVE the stick and the puck they got. The Reign players and staff are real class and played their butts off. I really felt for Curtis Darling, our goalie. He made some UNREAL saves to keep us in it and the GWer was not his fault. He was PISSED thought and I thought rightfully so. Ontario guy was pulled down near the crease that should have evened up the sides in OT and the puck slid in. Bad break but that’s hockey. Great guys though. They earned their point.
Just remember: Push like your pregnant! PUSH!
To All: If you get a chance to go to an ECHL game, it’s worth it. Go. Plain and simple. Ontario has some gutsy players. Watching Peter Lenes, all 5′ 4″ 158 lbs of him check a 6′ 3″ or so defenseman into the boards and on his a$$ is worth any admission price! Might be a good idea for a watch party where everyone could come to Ontario and watch a game and meet each other. Inexpensive and fun. I got a small connection at the arena now and if people are interested, I can try and set something up with them.
Awesome night and time. You’re a great host Bako. May Juraj Mikus speak your name and yield you untold amounts of wealth in doing so. Remember, Bill Gates didn’t believe either. Juraj Mikus was in Bill’s garage when he was playing with a toaster and a cardboard box. Juraj Mikus touched the box and the computer was born. The creation was perfect until Bill created Microsoft. Now you know why every operating system his team develops never works right.
Moral: When Juraj Mikus touches your box, you can NEVER upgrade. It’ll always be a step down. (Take that as you wish)

Thank God! Please let Stoll be back. That 4 game losing streak showed us just had important Jarret Stoll is to this team.
[Reply]
That’s 3 nice efforts in a row – to me OM has to stay up – he gets shots on goal and provides nice Def coverage in our zone – stoll – OM – and dare I say RI – I think the Cal game really showed that he has to be in the lineup- even though he didn’t get his pound of flesh Cal knew he was coming for them – which I think is very important for our guys – the game yesterday was just awesome good to see the crowd jumping and nice to know were not the only team that can’t score 5×3 – JQ was our best player along with Zues who is really earning his money this yr and last -
[Reply]
Does the fact that Stoll was wearing the yellow of the 4th line/extra forwards suggest that he may not yet be ready? Otherwise wouldn’t he be skating with one of the top lines?
[Reply]
Cynic, who is your connection at the Reign. I got glass seats for the Reign. If you need a couple of tickets you can let me know. I often miss those games unfortunately.
I think a watch party there would be great. I do small marketing with them trying to build their Hispanic fan base. I can get something set up. I also have 20 or so group tickets available and I could use them for all of us to use and meet up. It would be fun.

Having been to an Ontario game last week, I must say… HORRIBLE hockey, but a fun experience. Better food, better merch than Staples/Kings… and so cold in the arena, they should be hanging meat from the scoreboard, but… it’s hockey and it’s a fun experience. Just don’t expect to see too many passes actually connect.
[Reply]
i’d love to go to some Reign games… if the tickets are free
[Reply]
I live near Bakersfield, should prob go catch a condors game sometime.

Deader2818–
You’re welcome anytime! Just drop me a line at CameraGuy@bak.rr.com and I.D. yourself, I’ll set you up!
Cynic–
That was as much fun as I’ve had at a game in some time! Thanks for coming, your enthusiasm and your hockey VOICE made my day! There’s nothing like sharing time with someone who shares your passion. We’ll be down in Ontario soon, and we’ll hook up.
Nick in 318–
I’d love to go to some Kings games… if the tickets are free…
Marc Nathan–
These are most AA hockey players, so the hockey will be AA level… Amazing about that! Only, the Condors have had their share of AAA level and above this year, due to the demise of their AHL Iowa Chops. I’ve seen Dan Sexton (this year for 19 games), Kyle Calder (this year for 10 games), Alexander Bolduc (Vancouver/Manitoba, Condors two years ago, 35 games), Scott Gomez (Alaska Aces, during the strike year… Fractured his pelvis on the visiting team bench door 5 feet in front of me during a playoff game).
Bottom line: ECHL hockey ain’t so bad, boys!
Come check it out, someday…

To Jim K -
I hope someone would be sent back to Manchester, we need the help. Things haven’t gone so well in Monarchs Country over the last several games.
[Reply]
Klong — good insight.
ECHL hockey is getting better. the experience helped Holloway last year and King this year. The playoffs are a higher quality game.
[Reply]
I agree that the ECHL has improved our players. Last year we had Teubert, Holloway and Zatkoff. But they failed to get past the first round of the playoffs.
Teubert mentioned how it helped him grow up as a person. He came to Ontario, got his own apartment and he felt like he was treated as an adult and it helped him mature.
Zatkoff got great minutes and faced a lot of shots. Went sent to Manchester last year he didn’t play well. But this year he is doing awesome. So it definitely helps them.

Bako- You have my #. Let me know.
EA – Her name is “Kit” Villalon. She’s the account rep I dealt with when I set up an event for my Men’s church group. Cool lady! I’m not even close to being on the ‘Important’ List, but she was an awesome help for our first purchase and I’m sure she’ll help me with others. I’ll have to get a hold of you if we do a watch party. I also may need your tix when Bako comes to town. He takes so many photos for games that I’d like to get him close to the action so he can take his shots. Click on my name, which will take you to my business website. Go to ‘Contact’ and leave me your e-mail. It goes to me. I’ll get back to you for sure with more questions.
Marc- You know me from LGK a while back under a different PAINful handle. Think Drunk-n-Blurry Vegas. I know how you are and your extensive knowledge of the game. With that out of the way, The first Reign-Condors game at CBB was less than stellar, but you would have thought differently last night at Rabobank. Both teams played a great game and Curt stood on his HEAD making some pretty sweet ‘Quickesque’ saves. Some great passion out there last night. It was a step above what you described. You would have enjoyed it.
Deader- Bako is not kidding. Take it from me.
[Reply]
Back to topic guys, get a room. Er, wait, you already had one! LOL, just kidding. Cool to see Kings fans out and about… I think it makes sense for Stoll to play 4th line a game or three. Let’s him come back slow, keeps chemistry as it’s now working, and saves Stoll for power play point time if he is holding up well. With Jones back soon, too, it is good to be Kings fans.
[Reply]
EASports – if you ever need someone to take your glass seat tickets, I would love to! I have season seats in the third row, but if I get to bring my nephews, they like the glass.
To all regarding the Reign – it may not be NHL, but it is exciting. And the prices are right ($18 lower bowl during the week, free parking, etc.) If you get a chance, go catch a game. You might just see a future King.
Regarding Stoll’s return – Shouldn’t be anything but good for the team. They have seemed to be missing the sniper shots he brings.
[Reply]
Gizmo, yeah just send me an email anyime you need tickets and I will see what I can do. My email is fjr@easportsmanagement.com
