I really don't remember ever a line as dominant as these three were at the beginning of the season. No disrespect to the injury but the emotional pull from having that line taken away is what hurt the team last night ... and it's our biggest challenge going forward. I'm all about Simmy .. hell I bought the kid's jersey, but that Williams/Smyth/Kopi chemsity was awesome. Very interesting to see what type of momentum we can create after this. I think the biggest loss (and what will provide the biggest mental challenge to overcome) is not the break as much as this dominant line not getting back together.

I really don’t remember ever a line as dominant as these three were at the beginning of the season.

One bad bounce (the puck bounced sideways into the net) and a rookie mistake (coughing the puck up along the boards for an outnumbered attack)--take those away and the kings win. I don't see this as in previous seasons where the loss of one or two guys means disaster....
