No, Frolov hasn't really played well enough to earn him a spot on their Olympic roster. However, I'm coming to the conclusion that this is just the way Frolov talks/acts, and that he's not passionless or ambivalent, just a little reserved and unfamiliar with the language.

	I hope.

No offense to him but nothing in his game made me think he deserved to be in the Olympics. Sure he has played well defensively as they have asked of him, but they are asking every player to be sound defensively, that is how the Kings play now and it is great. But he has the talent level to do better on the offensive side and I can see why some might question his desire. I won't do that here, but it is understandable to a point. Not based on this interview though. Just based on every thing about him during his career with the Kings.

Who knows maybe he is playing up to his abilities, but most seem to think he is capable of much more and i am one of them. It isn't the coaches fault or the way they are asking him to play that is causing him to not seem to hustle every shift or perform better on the offensive side of things.

I honestly think he may just need a change of scenery. Happens to a lot of professional athletes.

Look at it this way, we won't have to worry about him getting hurt again during the Olympics.

It has nothing to do with his offensive numbers isnt the issue for me anymore. I appreciate his defensive skillset. I've moved on from expecting him to be the Kings leading scorer or even top 3.

I will always want Kings player to show some emotion. I feel as if I've made my point. No need to beat a dead dog.

GO KINGS!!! Pick up some points and get back in that top eschelon!

stuart, you CAN'T always teach edge. Some guys have it and some guys don't.Devalueing(if that's even a word)a player who doesn't have that in his game is wrong. Not all guys are going to play like Chelios.Fro's been that way from day 1.Expecting that because his offensive numbers don't make you happy is just going to frustrate you.
