Kings lucky to get out of that period down by only one goal. Also looked like they were finding their game again towards the end of the period; standing up more to the yotes in the neutral zone and at the blue line. Overall good sign.

This game is a nightmare right now, not from the standpoint that the Kings are losing but the fact that they probably lost Williams for the season.

Kings will be in a fight towards the end of the season for the 8th spot with Nashville, St. Louis, Dallas, maybe Anaheim.

Williams is done, so they need to play as a team and get over it. Olympics are gonna produce some injuries too, deal with it. Kopitar, you got you friend back, now do something!

    Ed Jovinovski

Yeah, it wasn’t his fault, but lets send Greene and Ivanans after him so we can get those guys suspended in Chris Simon like fashion

You don’t send Greene after anyone.Greene’s a big boy and game as hell; he’ll go- but he won’t win. No sense in having him sit for nothing… Of all the video I have reviewed with Greene scrapping, it tended to go thusly: Greene throws one; the opponent throws two or three quick ones; Greene falls down. End of scrap.

Instead of gunning for Jovanoski, Kings need to step up their hitting game, force turnovers and pot a couple more.

Why would they go gunning for Jovanoski. He didn’t do anything wrong, it was a clean hit. If you look at the replay, Kopitar fell onto of Williams while Williams had one leg under the other. Kopi is a big boy to fall on anyone.
