JJ did come out for a shift or 2 later in the game and it looked like he was skating ok. But I don't think he played after that shift. To be honest I was surprised to see him come back at all. When he got hit he wasn't putting any weight on the ankle. The rash of injuries is because of the crazy schedule. The Kings are tied with Colorado for the most games played already this season (36). San Jose has 2 games in hand on the Kings. Other teams have as many as 5 games in hand. The Kings regular season started on Oct. 3rd, so in 75 days the Kings have played 36 games. That's basically a game every other night for over 2 months. It's hard to keep people healthy when you can't get them a break.
