How do you replace a player such as this?

It is hard, but
on a deep team,
you can do it by committee,
like Manchester has been doing it lately.

With an insane work ethic from EVERYBODY,
it can be done.

But it won’t be easy.

Personally, I don’t see a Cliche or Westgarth call up for Simmonds (if it comes to that) being successful. Yes, both have been producing, but neither one of them would fulfill the Simmer role. Cliche would be closer but… Well, if they call Cliche up that’d leave Gauthier as the only currently skating “leader”. Obviously there are guys that DON’T have letters on their jersey that are leaders, but I just don’t know if any of them could step up to the role that Cliche has taken on the bench. I see Gauthier’s A as being more of a tenure thing than an actual leadership thing. Bagnall and Cliche on the other hand have definitely been guys that really have taken the reigns as players.

Hey ,Az my predictions are good ,check it for ducks game
and…I do have fait in this team (finaly) we got enough
dept and that is why I predict another victory.however,
I lost my fath in Brown.Yes ,he works hard,but efort and result are two different thing. We need more talented capitan-lieder.Dl said we are head of scedule..
I do not think this is true.We miss playoff for several years already ….Hey our lifes are short ,you know that!!1 and btw …nobady here talks about THE Cup.That is still far away dream for us.ducks get cup head of scedule and maybe SJ….SJ (???) is #1 now.Who could predict that several years ago.they are head of scedule,

AZ – agreed. It’s bad news losing Simmer, but this is a pretty damn good hockey team. I don’t see everything falling apart over this.

Don’t start with the stupid predictions. Another ‘fan’ that has no faith in this team. The Kings will adjust and be fine. One thing will help is Dallas going into the shootout last night. Hopefully they’ll be a little worn out. Maybe they’ll put Auld back in goal and Kopi an get another hat trick on him.
