I’m just saying — It sounds like you may have just become a hockey fan in the past few weeks. And that is great, hockey needs all of the support it can get. But, the home team always gets the last change. The refs switched sides after the second period and he got confused as to who the home team was. It is not that uncommon for a referee to get turned around, but every referee will make the right call once he realizes his mistake. This guy was all about himself and not at all about the game. On the Zues penalty, he was the trail official and had a player between him and the puck. He did not raise his hand until the Calgary bench started yelling at him. I actually believe that call was correct, but he lost all credibility when he did not let the lead ref make the call. He was 70 feet from the play, blocked by the puck carrier, and was late to make the call.
TM was absolutely correct in standing up for his team and calling the ref on his ego trip. In addition, even Koharski will not be able to justify the refs actions and we will be less likely to get this ref crew again.

Just admit you lost it! It’s OK…The first step is admitting you have a proble. I have Dr Drew on the other line and he is asking for your number they have a new Reality show. Coaches that insist they are to make a line change after the Ref has said No…I belive Amber Smith and Mickey from Rocky are involved..

Why does everything seem sugarcoated? I don’t hear or read any urgency in these interviews. Just kind of a matter-of-factness that doesn’t show heart to me. I don’t get it. I feel like I care more about a loss than the team itself. There shouldn’t be the slightest hint of positivity coming out of the mouths of TM, Brown, Kopi, etc.

“But we bounced back…” For what, 1:30? Then you folded.

“We got the two goals, and then good energy, jump…” Uh, no you didn’t. The team folded after the two goals.

Doughty did make a few mistakes, that cost a goal or two. TM made bad decisions on the third line. Ivans should not play during the crucial minutes…Sure players can be fatigue, but how come Flames were not playing poor during the PP? Jamie Kompon, excuse me if I misspelled your name, but I believe you should start a different strategy on your power plays. It cost us a short handed goal. E has not been penciled in for any future starts? well, you must re-do your line ups Mister Murray, and have your boys play like practice!

Kris — if you attended the game, you would have seen the ref was an arrogant donkey. The ref also made a couple of terrible calls. Every once in a while a coach has to stand up to poor referees. Hopefully, with such a blatant error by this crew, we will not have to see them again this season.
One coaching moment I will never froget, is when a ref really had it in for our team and his calls were horribly lopsided. I just let it go and wrote off the game. After the game one of the boys, 10 at the time, asked me if I knew the ref was terrible, why didn’t I do anything. From then on, every once in a while I would say something to the ref, just to let my team know I was behind them.

Okay, enough with the bashing of Quick. After a game like today where the Kings DID NOT show up…how can the blame be put on the goaltender? The first goal…sure, that was Quick’s shot to stop. But goals like the short handed goal, NOT Quick’s fault!

EXCUSES!!!

Another Lackluster performance….No one showed up today! This team is going down hill and fast! The team needs a huge wake up call. More efforts like this and TM can start looking for another job.

I’m glad I didn’t pay money to see that effort. Bad enough watching it on TV

Purcell…haven’t seen anything from this guy since the first 3 games of the season!

I also don’t buy the excuses for being fatigued.

It’s a good thing that we have so much video now so Quick can make some adjustments. I’m not about to jump all over him and spew negativity, but his positioning is not good. He over commits too much which finds him too far out of his crease. Let’s hope he can get his game together quick (no pun intended), because it may be time for a change. What that will be, only DL knows. Just don’t wait to long because this team can make the playoffs. But your not going to get there without a good goalie.
